I found this bag to be well made, with plenty of room for all of my lithium batteries. The zippers are of good quality, and an extra pouch is handy for smaller batteries, etc. The velcro flap is very handy for charging items in the bag. I cannot vouch for durability, but I don’t feel it will be an issue. Also can’t say it has prevented a disaster at this point, but I do feel much safer. It looks nice too, and it didn’t break the bank.

I use this to store and charge my USB chargers, batteries for my bike shifters, drone, and other smaller batteries. It would also work for RC car batteries. It is not quite big enough for the Bosch batteries from my e-bike. The material seems good. I don’t know how well it works if there is a fire, and hope I never do 🙂

I previously stored my LiPo batteries for RC airplanes in a small plastic toolbox. Not good if they catch fire. Other guys at the field use ammo boxes. I am not a fan of the ammo box since they are rigid. I would need several and transporting several boxes to and from the field would be awkward. This bag seemed like a nice alternative. The bag is bigger than I thought it would be and it fits all my batteries and accessories nicely. The shoulder strap makes transporting a snap. I had to make a rigid “bottom” for inside the bag by gluing several pieces of cardboard together so the weight of the batteries would not deform the bag when I carry it (reason for four stars). Time will test its durability. I hope I am never required to test its fireproof nature.
